Chat and messaging

Keep team conversations organized, send private messages where permitted, and move from chat into live work.

#

Conversation types

Patvero separates persistent workspace conversations from live meeting chat.

  • Workspace chat remains available after a meeting ends.
  • Office room chat belongs to its persistent space.
  • Meeting chat is scoped to the live meeting and its retention policy.
  • Private meeting chat is available only when policy and participant permissions allow it.

Send a message

The composer keeps the recipient and message action clear on every screen size.

  1. 1
    Choose the destination

Open a conversation, room, or meeting chat. In a meeting, use To to choose Everyone or an eligible participant.

  2. 2
    Write and attach

Enter your message and attach supported files when the conversation permits attachments.

  3. 3
    Follow the thread

Unread indicators and recent private conversations help you return to the right exchange.

#

Safe communication

Workspace policy applies before messages are delivered.

  • Do not place passwords, API keys, or recovery codes in chat.
  • Use approved record and document products for regulated information.
  • Report or moderate content with the controls available to your role.
Clinical and sensitive records

Keep clinical notes in Care and governed records in Records or Documents. Chat is not a replacement for structured recordkeeping.
